In wake of a fresh deal that will allow users access to FarmVille, Mafia Wars and other popular Zynga titles on Facebook for at least the next five years, the hugely successful social networking site has joined hands with yet another internet giant, Yahoo!, to give access to its games to the latter's humongous user base.

The deal seems to be a win-win situation for both the parties, and even Zynga stands to gain a lot from this agreement. Whereas Yahoo! still gloats about the popularity of its games, which draw more than 19 million unique visitors every month, Facebook, in recent times, has been benefitting hugely from these features.
Besides, Zynga will be introduced to some 600 million new users, according to Yahoo!, and that will help the former in reducing its reliance on Facebook. The company, currently valued at an impressive $4 billion, will get yet another impetus once this deal materializes.
Yahoo users, who are interested in these games, will be able to do so through the Yahoo Homepage, Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Messenger and Yahoo Games, among other properties.
