The court directed the investigating agency to file its reply to Talluri’s petition. A senior engagement partner with Price Waterhouse, Talluri has been in jail since January 24.

Talluri has told SC that there was no chance of his tampering with the evidence as CBI has already filed its final investigation report before a special CBI court in Hyderabad on April 7, 2009. He further said he has been in custody for 10 months and CBI has already submitted all the relevant documents related to the case to the court.

Talluri has been accused of ignoring an anonymous e-mail giving details of the alleged fraud committed by Satyam.

Talluri and other accountants had audited the 2007-08 accounts of Satyam between June September 2008.
