Stock market opens on cheerful note; up over 96 pts
The 30-share index, Sensex, which spurted 469 points on Thursday, rose further by 96.37 points at 13145.72 points in the first five minutes of trading.

The benchmark index Sensex on Friday opened with over 96 points, extending the previous day's gain, on the Bombay Stock Exchange in early trade as funds sustained their buying activity in heavy weight stocks.
The 30-share index, Sensex, which spurted 469 points on Thursday, rose further by 96.37 points at 13145.72 points in the first five minutes of trading.
Similarly, National Stock Exchange Index Nifty traded higher by 34.05 points at 3795.70.
