Wipro gets 'Best Practice Award' at CorpU awards

IT services provider Wipro Technologies announced that it has been awarded at the ninth Annual Corporate University Xchange (CorpU) awards for excellence and innovation in corporate learning.

Wipro is recognised with the Best Practice Award in the Corporate/College Partnerships category, it said in a release in New Delhi on Thursday.

Wipro is the only Indian company to win this award this year, it said. "Each of these winning programmes has a measurable impact on a company's ability to execute their business strategy," CorpU President and CEO Sue Todd said.

Commenting on the award Wipro Technologies Sr Vice-President (Talent Transformation) Selvan D said: "This is a testimony to Wipro's belief in innovative practices."
