Project Kahn unveils world's ‘most luxurious’ taxi. Check features, price
The UK-based company modified an electrified TX5 taxi, and named it ‘Farelady.’
Project Kahn, a UK-based company that specialises in the modification of vehicles, has modified an electrified TX5 taxi, and named it ‘Farelady.’ Touted as the most luxurious taxi in the world, Farelady is priced at 120,000 pounds (approx. ₹1.21 crore) and, therefore, may also be the most expensive in the category.

Project Kahn's Farelady
Farelady's new and more imposing grille takes inspiration from the grille on some models manufactured by Mercedes-Maybach; on top of the car, there is a ‘VIP’ light. Meanwhile, inside the cabin, seats are more like thrones, a clear inspiration from those inside the Bugatti Chiron. To further up the luxury quotient, wood-based materials, as well as leather, have been generously used.
Its comfort and convenience features range from a wireless phone charging to switchable LED lighting and additional USBs.
‘Open to further modifications’
According to Kahn Design, they are willing to make further modifications to the vehicle, if requested by a customer. To strike a chord with potential buyers, the company is underlining the British lineage of the taxi, which is available in multiple colour schemes, and can also be purchased in left or right-hand drive set up.
