Suzuki reveals fourth generation Swift, car to get ADAS technology
The carmaker showcased the model at the ongoing Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo.
Japanese carmaker Suzuki Motor Corporation has revealed how its next generation Swift hatchback would look like, as it unveiled a concept form of the car's fourth generation model at the ongoing Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo.

The current, third generation model was launched globally in 2017.
Design
As per HT Auto, the fourth generation Swift retains its overall stance, shapes, and curves. Several elements (like headlights, bumpers), however, have been tweaked to make the hatchback appear sportier than before.
At the event, Suzuki showcased a model coloured in blue, and with a blacked-out roof. On its rear, meanwhile, the new Swift is likely to get the same set of taillights, though the bumper could be redesigned like the one in the concept version.
Features
The interior gets bigger changes than the exterior. The upcoming car will get an all-new cabin with features such as a dual-tone dashboard, free-standing 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver display, electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (both wireless) and more.
Also, in a significant update, the fourth generation Swift gets the advanced ADAS technology. If released in India by Suzuki's subsidiary in the country, Maruti, it will be the manufacturer's first vehicle in India with this advanced feature.
Powertrain
It is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic gearbox. The engine can generate maximum power of 88.76 bhp and peak torque of 113 Nm.
