The authorities have managed to free 30 acres of encroachment in Madrasi Colony.

So far, it has managed to get 180 acres free from encroachers by razing Colony Number 5, Mazdoor Colony, Kuldeep Colony, Pandit Colony, Nehru Colony and Kajheri Colony.
