Amway confident of achieving Rs 6,000 cr turnover by 2020

Addressing mediapersons during a visit to the company's contract manufacturing facility here on Thursday, William S Pinckney, MD and CEO, Amway India, said:

"Direct selling industry in India is showing a healthy growth rate, which is in excess of 22%."

"Besides, world-class quality product, enabling web orders coupled by regular TV campaigns, have been major growth drivers for Amway. Going by the market trend, we are aiming to touch Rs 6,000 crore by 2020."

To meet the growing demand, Amway announced its first Greenfield manufacturing facility in the country with an investment of Rs 550 crore.
