Asked to stop, 2 youths hit cop
A cop posted with the police control room sustained injuries after he was hit by two unidentified youths at a naka in Phase 7, SAS Nagar, on Wednesday. The incident took place when head constable Roshan Lal was doing duty at a naka in the Phase-7 market behind St Soldier's International School, SAS Nagar.

A cop posted with the police control room sustained injuries after he was hit by two unidentified youths at a naka in Phase 7, SAS Nagar, on Wednesday.
The incident took place when head constable Roshan Lal was doing duty at a naka in the Phase-7 market behind St Soldier's International School, SAS Nagar.
He signalled two youths riding on a motorcycle to stop, but the youths in the process to flee from the spot injured the cop. Roshan Lal was rushed to a hospital.
The police have registered a case against unidentified motorcycle-borne youths at the Mataur police station and investigations are on. According to the police, the youths driving the motorcycle were in school uniform.
