Award for PGI orthopaedic surgeon

Dr Ramesh Kumar Sen, orthopaedic surgeon, at the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, was awarded prestigious Dr Mahurkar Oration award at Bhilai during the annual meeting of Central Zone of Indian Orthopaedics' Association.

He received the oration for his skills in performing total hip replacement in difficult hip problems on which he gave a presentation to the participating orthopaedic surgeons from central India.
