Badal appoints Maheshinder as his advisor

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal today appointed former minister and Shiromani Akali Dal general secretary Maheshinder Singh Grewal as his advisor.

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal has appointed former minister and Shiromani Akali Dal general secretary Maheshinder Singh Grewal as his advisor.

A spokesperson of the chief minister's office said Badal cleared the file to this effect on Friday afternoon and formal orders of Grewal's appointment were being issued.
