Kullu deputy commissioner Rakesh Kanwar here said the high court's decision of ban on animal sacrifice at religious places would strictly enforced across the district.

Kanwar directed all the sub-divisional magistrates of the district to make people aware about the order.
In view of the Dussehra festival, the DC issued the directions in advance as the festival witnessed animal sacrifice.

The DC also directed the officials to put sign boards at temples regarding prohibition of animals sacrifice. Kanwar also urged the people of the district to cooperate with the district administration and would refrain from to infringe the law during festival.
