BJP to hold national executive on September 26
With the aim of chalking out agitational plans to condemn the centre's recent anti-people reform policies, the national executive of the BJP would be held at Faridabad in Haryana from September 26 to 28.
Talking to reporters here on Saturday, senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu said "We will chalk out a nation-wide agitation plan against the anti-people policies of the Congress-led UPA and mobilise people's support for the agitation", he added.
Daring the Centre to get Parliament approval for the FDI in retail and other measures, Naidu said the September 20 Bharat Bandh called by the BJP-led NDA was a success.
"All the traders responded to it spontaneously. This showed that FDI in retail trade will harm them", he said, adding, the success of the Bandh clearly showed that the entire country did not support the FDI move.
