"We outrightly reject wheat MSP of Rs 1,285 per quintal and demand Rs 500 a quintal bonus on wheat MSP. The prices of diesel and fertilisers are continuously increasing," Rajewal said in a release issued here.

The faction demanded that increase in input prices should be controlled at the earliest.

On sugarcane payment, Rajewal alleged that Rs 100 crore had not been paid to sugarcane growers by cooperative and private sugar mills.

Rajewal said he will take up the matter with Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal. "If mills fail to pay the payment, we will organise an agitation," he said.
