In yet another incident, a 14-year-old inmate of Snehalaya went missing from his Sector-40 school on Friday. Police have registered a case of kidnapping against unidentified person.

Staying in Snehalaya since 2009, Harjinder Singh was last seen at the government school on Friday. After he did not turn up till evening, Snehalaya warden Narinder Rana lodged a complaint with police. The school authorities said he had earlier been found absent from the class, and did not attend school on Friday.

A case under section 363 (kidnapping) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at the Sector-39 police station. In the past, too, inmates have gone missing from the Snehalaya.
