Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, has invited applications for various post-graduate courses run by the university. The interested students can apply before May 12. They can get the prospectus and application form on the PU website http://cetpg.puchd.ac.in/.
The admissions to 45 post-graduate courses would be based on the applicant's performance in an entrance test, which would be conducted on June 13 and 14.
Admissions to LLM, MCA, MA journalism and mass communication, masters in public health, MA (English), MA (geography), masters in disaster management, remote sensing and GIS, MTech (nanoscience and nanotechnology), ME (chemical), ME (food technology), ME (chemical with specialisation in environmental engg), MTech (polymer), MSc (industrial chemistry), ME in electrical engg (instrumentation and control), electronics and communication engineering, computer science and engg, civil engg (construction technology and management), and mechanical engineering (manufacturing technology), master of business economics (MBE), MCom (Hons), MCom (business innovation), MBA (commerce and information technology) MBACIT, MBAFEX, master of physical education, whose under-graduate programme would be based on the test.
Students willing to take admissions in the various MSc/MSc (Hons) programmes may also apply at http://cetpg.puchd.ac.in/.
The last date for submitting the online application to generate the bank challan is May 12 and the last date for fee submission in any SBI branch is May 15 till 4pm.
The last date for submitting fee details and uploading the photograph and the signature with the rest of the information on the website is May 18. E-Admit cards would be available on the website on May 29. According to a PU spokesperson, there would be no physical communication for the purpose.
