Sukhbir said tax-free status to the religious movie had been given to help educate the present generation regarding the unparallelled and supreme sacrifice of the Char Sahibzade.

He said the SAD-BJP government had always encouraged Punjabi cinema that gave social and religious message for the uplift of society and would continue to encourage filmmakers to make movies on such subjects. He has issued orders to the excise and taxation commissioner to issue a notification in this regard with immediate effect.
