Congress sweeps mayoral polls in Chandigarh; Sudhash Chawla elected new mayor

Congress councillor Sudhash Chawla has been elected the mayor of Chandigarh on Tuesday. The senior deputy mayor's post went to Rana Kashmiri Devi while Satish Kainth retained the post of deputy mayor for the second time.
