Court grants bail to BKI terrorist Jagtar Singh Tara in infamous Burail jail break case on Tuesday. He was brought to Chandigarh from Patiala.

Judicial magistrate, Harpreet Kaur, granted bail to BKI terrorist Jagtar Singh Tara in infamous Burail jail break case on Tuesday. He was brought to Chandigarh from Patiala jail.

He will stay in jail as he is yet to furnish bail bonds and others cases are pending against him, including Beant Singh assassination case.

In a joint operation of central agencies and the Thai police, Tara was arrested in January in Thailand and was brought to the country.

Tara was declared as proclaimed offender in Punjab chief minister Beant Singh assassination case in 1995. Tara was a member of Babbar Khalsa at the time of the assassination and later he had joined Khalistan Tiger Force.
