The director took to micro-blogging website Twitter to share a photograph of her meeting with Modi. “Move over @BarackObama @MichelleObama @GurinderC got an Indian film to make on the partition of India! #tolerance,” she tweeted along with the photograph.
Chadha also thanked Modi for taking time out for the meeting and apologised for her weak Hindi. “@narendramodi thank you sir was a great meeting @PMOIndia apologies formy tutti futti Hindi!,” she further posted.
Chadha is also busy with ‘Bend It Like Beckham: The Musical’ and ‘Desi Rascals’, a British Asian reality drama.
