Forum visits Bhakra Dam
The Forum of Regulators (Electricity), the national body for harmonisation of regulations in the power sector across the country, visited the Bhakra-Nangal project on Saturday. Constituted under the Indian Electricity Act-2003, the forum comprises chairpersons of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) and state electricity regulatory commissions.

The Forum of Regulators (Electricity), the national body for harmonisation of regulations in the power sector across the country, visited the Bhakra-Nangal project on Saturday. Constituted under the Indian Electricity Act-2003, the forum comprises chairpersons of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) and state electricity regulatory commissions.
During the visit, the delegation comprising more than 25 members was received by Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) chairman AB Agrawal. The delegates were shown around the Bhakra Dam and its power houses.
