Four thefts reported in single day in city

Four thefts were reported from across the city, police said on Tuesday.In the first incident, Jitender Bawa, a resident of Dashmesh Enclave, Zirakpur, reported that some unidentified persons had stolen his motorcycle HR-06R-4397 from Sadar Bazar Parking, Sector 19.

In another incident, Baljit Kaur, a resident of Sector 7B, in his complaint to the police said that some pickpockets snatched mobile phone from her pocket when she was purchasing stuff from grain market at Sector 26.

Meanwhile, two burglaries were also reported. In his complaint Dwarka Dass Abrol of Shivalik Enclave, Manimajra, said that some unidentified perosns had stolen two silver bowls, rs19,800 from his house. In a separate incident, Dinesh Chauhan, a resident of Sector 34, reported that someone had stolen 38 printers from his SCO. The police have registered separate cases under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in all the incidents.
