Gang of gamblers busted; 11 held
With the arrest of 11 people on Friday night, the local police here claimed to have busted a gambling racket. On a tip off, the police raided a house at Sector 5, Mansa Devi Complex, where it found that Ravinder Arora of Sector 8, Rajiv Kumar, Daanvir Singh Negi, Anish Ahmed, all residents of Manimajra, were betting on the Rajasthan vs Delhi IPL match. They were arrested from the flat.

Meanwhile, the police also arrested Naveen Kumar and Navneet Sehgal, both residents of Manimajra, from another flat of the same colony for betting.
Gopal, a resident of Zirakpur, Sunil of Manimajra, Rakesh Kumar of Manimajra, Pradeep Soni of Rajasthan and Sunil Kumar of Zirakpur were arrested from a house in Sector 21. All were released on bail after being produced before the court on Saturday.
