Govt school teachers face music after surprise checks
Over 100 teachers have been issued show cause notices for various lapses following a surprise check in government schools in Ludhiana district under Punjab government's drive to improve education standard in its schools.

Over 100 teachers have been issued show cause notices for various lapses following a surprise check in government schools in Ludhiana district under Punjab government's drive to improve education standard in its schools.
Surprise checks were held in 141 schools on Friday and 18 teachers were found absent, 62 were late and 27 teachers were on long leave.
An inquiry had been ordered by the state government. A total 107 teachers has been issued show cause notice in this regard, an official spokesman said here.
