Vice-President of India and PU chancellor Hamid Ansari will be the chief guest at the international conference which will commence from December 27 to 30, a university spokesman said.
CHEMCON-2014 will offer a platform for interface to the best of national and international brains in Chemical Engineering and allied fields, he said.
"It will feature a host of events, which will include memorial lectures, plenary lectures, seminars, symposia, panel discussions, exhibition", he added.
The conference is being organised on the theme, 'Chemical Engineering-Emerging Dimensions and Challenges Ahead'. Last year, CHEMCON was organised in Mumbai.
