Harbhajan to lead Punjab in Mushtaq trophy tourney

Indian off spinner Harbhajan Singh will lead Punjab in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T-20 knockout cricket tournament to be held at Mumbai from March 23.

Indian off spinner Harbhajan Singh will lead Punjab in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T-20 knockout cricket tournament to be held at Mumbai from March 23.

Punjab had topped the North Zone League. They will take on Assam in the pre-quarterfinals on March 23 at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. If they win, Punjab will meet MPCA in the quarter-finals.

The other members of the team are: Sarul Kanwar, Gurkirat Mann, Mandeep Singh, Amitoze Singh, Bipul Sharma, Chandan Madan (WK), Manpreet Singh, Siddharth Kaul, Rajwinder Singh, VRV Singh, Taruwar Kohli, Ishan Malhotra, Manish Bhatia and Mayank Sidana.

According to Punjab Cricket Association, Harvinder Singh will be the cricket manager, Parmeet Singh will be physio, Adrian the trainer and Amit Kumar the video analyst.
