Starring filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter, Alia, filmmaker David Dhawan’s son, Varun, and Siddharth Malhotra, the film also features Sana Saeed, who played SRK’s daughter, Anjali, in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998).

Johar’s lucky mascot Kajol features in The Disco Song. The film releases in 10 days and trade experts feel its freshness will be its high selling point. “It’s lavish, looks entertaining and it is a big thing that Karan is launching three faces,” says trade expert Taran Adarsh. “Fans know that Johar would have extracted the best from the newcomers. The music of the film has created a buzz,” says trade expert Atul Mohan.
