Injured car rally navigator dies in Srinagar hospital

Navigator Ashish Mahajan, who was critically injured in an accident during the 3rd Mughal car rally at Simthen, died in the S K Institute of Medical Sciences today.

Navigator Ashish Mahajan, who was critically injured in an accident during the 3rd Mughal car rally at Simthen, died in the S K Institute of Medical Sciences on Tuesday.

During the rally, another participant Jetinder Singh was killed whereas Mahajan was critically injured after their vehicle fell into a gorge at Simthen on Shopian-Kishtwar road on Monday.

Mahajan was immediately shifted to SKIMS where he was put on ventilator.

He died early Tuesday morning. The body would be send to Punjab. Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra and others have expressed grief sorrow over the death of Singh and Mahajan.
