It has given forced retirement to executive engineer Balihar Singh Kataria, subdivisional officer (SDO) Taranjit Singh, and ziledar Rajinder Singh; and dismissed SDOs Kulwant Singh and Satpal Singh.

Chief engineers aren't spared either. One has had his full-year increment stopped. CEs Sukhjinder Singh, Jarnail Singh, and RK Goel; superintending engineer Kuldip Singh Bhathal; and executive engineers Gurmel Singh, Satish Kumar Bansal, and Rakesh Anand, who all retired recently, lose 10% pension.

Department secretary Kahan Singh Pannu issued the orders, stating that the other pending inquiries would be completed in a time-bound manner.
