Juvenile arrested for outraging modesty
A juvenile was arrested for offensive sexual behaviour with a minor at Maloya on Tuesday. A woman resident alleged that a 14-year-old boy of Maloya Colony passed lewd remarks before outraging the modesty of her eight-year-old daughter.

A woman resident alleged that a 14-year-old boy of Maloya Colony passed lewd remarks before outraging the modesty of her eight-year-old daughter.
Police said the girl, who is a student of Class 2, went to the school at 8 am and returning home at 9.30 am, when the incident took place.
The mother complained to the police the boy also passed lewd remarks at her daughter near their house.
The girl complained that the boy offered her Rs 5 for unnatural sex. He allegedly caught her arm and took her towards an auto, but she managed to escape.
The girl told the entire incident to her mother and also indicated towards the boy who had misbehaved with her. The boy managed to escape the spot.
The mother informed the police about the incident, but refused to get the medical of her daughter done.
The police later arrested the boy and sent him to juvenile home.
The police have registered a case under section 354-A of the IPC and section 12 of Protection of Children Act, 2012, at the Sector 39 police station.
