Kamal congratulates Badals

Punjab BJP president Kamal Sharma congratulated SAD patron and Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal and SAD president Sukhbir Badal for the party's win in the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) elections. Referring to former DSGMC chief Paramjit Singh Sarna as "a mouthpiece of the Congress", Kamal said, "The Congress should consider this defeat in DSGMC as the beginning of its farewell, as it will face the same fate in the Delhi assembly elections followed by the Lok sabha elections."

The newly elected state BJP president, who was in Ludhiana on Wednesday to meet party workers, also said about his own party that the focus would be on recruitment and promotion of youth. "The BJP is known for elevating workers to prestigious posts. Keeping up with the tradition, I will give a chance to the young, honest, educated and upright workers to take the party to new heights."
