Kanda may move Delhi HC for anticipatory bail

Former Haryana minister Gopal Goyal Kanda, who is wanted by the police in connection with the suicide of former flight attendant Geetika Sharma and was last seen on Wednesday, is likely to move the Delhi high court on Monday to seek anticipatory bail, a close associate said.

Kanda's anticipatory bail plea was dismissed by a sessions court on Thursday. The court had termed the allegations against him as grave and serious in nature and said that his application was without merit.
