Khattar in Ambala today for 'Cooperative Day'

This would be CM's first official visit to Ambala after taking over on October 26.

Deputy commissioner Saket Kumar, who is supervising the arrangements for the function, said besides CM, health minister Anil Vij, minister of state for cooperatives Vikram Singh Yadav, several BJP MLAs and senior officers of the cooperative department would be present on the occasion.

He said several exhibition stalls highlighting the cooperative movement in the state had been erected, adding that the model of Sahabad Sugar Mills would be of special attraction.

Kumar said the CM would honour 15 cooperative society members, office-bearers and farmers, adding that the seating arrangements for over 10,000 people were being made.
