Police on Saturday arrested a landlord for not providing information of his tenants to the police station concerned in Hallomajra village.

Police on Saturday arrested a landlord for not providing information of his tenants to the police station concerned in Hallomajra village.

Sources in the police said accused identified as Surinder, a resident of the said village, was booked under Section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the Indian Penal Code.

Sources said the beat cops visited Surinder's house and found two tenants, Sanjay and Sunit, staying on rent at his residence.

The landlord had not provided the information of the tenants to the police station concerned. The accused was arrested and later released on bail, they added.
