Man booked for molesting sister-in-law

Investigation officer Dilbagh Singh said, “We have booked Pardeep Kumar for allegedly molesting and sexually harassing his sister-in-law who had been residing in the same house. In her complaint, the victim told the police that, the accused had entered her room and started abusing her. Pardeep also sexually assaulted her. We will arrest him soon,” the IO added.

The police have registered a case against Pardeep under sections 323 and 354A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The victim received minor injuries due to the scuffle he had with the accused and she was admitted to the civil hospital for the treatment.
