Man ends life by jumping in front of train

A 52-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a running train here on Friday. The deceased, identified as Satish Goyal, was a property dealer and a resident of Sector 21, Panchkula.

A 52-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a running train here on Friday.

The deceased, identified as Satish Goyal, was a property dealer and a resident of Sector 21, Panchkula.

According to the Government Railway Police (GRP), a suicide note was recovered from the spot in which the victim had mentioned that he was stressed owing to a strained relationship.

The police said the family had refused to lodge any complaint.

“The body has been sent to mortuary and will be handed over to family after the post-mortem examination on Saturday,” they added.
