Man sets himself ablaze in Jammu
A 30-year-old man on Saturday set himself ablaze at his residence in Channi Himat area near Jammu, police said. Sudesh Kumar self-immolated after pouring kerosene on himself this afternoon, they said, adding that locals immediately rushed to his rescue and doused the flames.

Sudesh Kumar self-immolated after pouring kerosene on himself this afternoon, they said, adding that locals immediately rushed to his rescue and doused the flames.
He received 60 % burn injuries and was shifted to a local hospital here in critical condition, police said.
The reason behind the extreme step is yet to be known.
