MC removes encroachments from Sectors 17, 19
The enforcement wing of Chandigarh municipal corporation on Monday removed encroachments from various parts of Sector 17 and Sadar Market in Sector 19. During the drive, 115 challans were issued to the violators.

The enforcement wing of Chandigarh municipal corporation on Monday removed encroachments from various parts of Sector 17 and Sadar Market in Sector 19. During the drive, 115 challans were issued to the violators.
The enforcement team removed encroachments from bank square, near bus stand, plaza and outer area of Sector 17 and seized various items, including stoves, cylinders, chairs, tables, clay pots, readymade garments, shoes etc.
The drive was carried under the supervision of Sunil Bhatia, additional commissioner, and assisted by Kashmira Singh, superintendent, enforcement wing, and sub-inspectors of MC's enforcement wing.
