Highest rain was recorded in Sundernagar with 43 mm followed by Dharmshala 17 mm.
Despite rainfall, the day time temperature has been increased by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, while no significant change in the night temperature was recorded.
Meteorological Centre Shimla also forecast low to moderate rain across the state. Director Manmohan Singh said, "Due to fresh western disturbance more rain is predicted in the state for this month," said he, adding, "Thunderstorm may hit some parts of the state in coming days."
