Minor held for sodomy

The police on Thursday booked a 17-year-old resident of Dhanoran village of SAS Nagar for allegdly sodomising a 6-year-old boy of the said village.

The police on Thursday booked a 17-year-old resident of Dhanoran village of SAS Nagar for allegdly sodomising a 6-year-old boy of the said village.

As per the complaint, the incident took place on February 3 and the accused was identified as Taj Mohammad. The case was registered on the complaint of victim's mother, where she alleged that, the accused had taken her son to his house, where he committed the unnatural offence.

She came to know about the incident when she heard her son screaming at Taj's house.

The police had registered a case under Section 377 (unnatural offence) of Indian Panel Code.

The accused was arrested by the police and was produced in a local court in SAS Nagar on Thursday. The accused was sent to judicial custody.
