Miscreants decamp with Rs 1.5 lakh from Sector 20 gurdwara
Atleast 12 unidentified persons decamped with Rs 1.5 lakh and important documents from the Sector20 gurdwara in the wee hours of Sunday.

Atleast 12 unidentified persons decamped with Rs 1.5 lakh and important documents from the Sector 20 gurdwara in the wee hours of Sunday .
Recalling the incident, gurdwara committee president Inderpal Singh said that around 12 am about 12 miscreants armed with sharp-edged weapons forcibly entered the gurdwara after overpowering the guard, Pawanjeet Singh.
The miscreants locked him in a room and broke the CCTV cameras installed on the premises and decamped with Rs 1.5 lakh and important document of the gurudwara.
Inderpal Singh alleged former president Harcharan Singh Grewal behind the incident. The police have rounded up more than five persons in connection with the theft.
A case has also been registered in the Sector 19 police station.
