Mongolian scientists to interact with HP farmers

The agriculture scientists from Mongolian University of Life Sciences (MULS) will interact with the farmers of the state during a joint workshop with Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh University (HPAU), planned for March 2015.

This was disclosed by vice-chairman of forest corporation KS Pathania, who met the two- member delegation from MULS, currently on a visit to the hill state, at Dharamsala.

Pathania said that delegation comprising MULS president Dr T Kheruuga and chief administrator of international affairs Dr Sukhtulg visited the various parts of the state and took a stock of the modern agriculture activities being practices by the farmers of Himachal.

"The two universities are now planning to work in collaboration and the Mongolian experts will meet the farmers of Himachal during a workshop likely to be held in March next year," he said.
