Month-long drive to prevent FMD in cattle
The Punjab government on Saturday started a month-long programme to vaccinate domesticated animals to prevent the outbreak of foot and mouth disease (FMD). Animal husbandry minister Gulzar Singh Ranike has issued instructions to provide free vaccination and appealed to the farmers to get their cattle vaccinated.
