Nine barge into sec-27 house, assault man and his son
Two persons were left injured after a group of nine persons entered into their house in Sector 27 on Saturday night. The victims, Rajkumar, 49, and his son Bhawani, 29, were allegedly attacked with batons and sharp-edged weapons by the assailants, who reached their house in two cars, around 10.30pm.

The accused also opened fire in the air. The police claimed that the assailants had come in search of Shivcharan, elder son of Rajkumar.
The assailants had a personal enmity with Shivcharan, who is lodged in the Burail jail in a murder case registered at Sector 11 police station. Some group members were also lodged in Burail jail, where they had a rift. The assailants, however, fled the spot. A case has been registered at the Sector 26 police station.
