No sale of liquor from April 8 to 10

Keeping in view April 10 Lok Sabha election in the city, the UT administration has, as a precautionary measure, imposed prohibition on the sale and service of liquor from 6pm, April 8, to 6pm on April10, and on May 16.

Keeping in view April 10 Lok Sabha election in the city, the UT administration has, as a precautionary measure, imposed prohibition on the sale and service of liquor from 6pm, April 8, to 6pm on April10, and on May 16.

During this period, sale and service of liquor will be prohibited at hotels, clubs, CSD canteens, liquor shops, wholesale godowns of liquor, taverns, shop and any other place, public or private and other establishments, which have been issued a liquor licence by the excise and taxation department. For ensuring the direction is not flouted, the excise and taxation department has formed separate teams.
