Stating that the festival would be held with the support of Union ministry of tourism, additional chief secretary (tourism) SS Dhillon said that tourism minister Ram Bilas Sharma would inaugurate the festival while governor Kaptan Singh Solanki would preside over its closing ceremony.

According to official information, Punjabi singer Roshan Prince and Sufi singer Kamal Khan would perform in the evening programmes on both the days.
