Plea to declare 'Chaar Sahibzaade' educational film

The Punjabi Cultural Council on Monday appealed to the Punjab government to declare 3D animation film 'Chaar Sahibzaade' an educational and historical movie depicting the sacrifices of Guru Gobind Singh's four sons.

The council also sought special shows of the Harry Baweja film for students in all educational institutions to create awareness.

In letters send to Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and education minister Daljit Singh Cheema, council chairman Jaswant Singh Chhapa and president Harjeet Singh Grewal said the movie explained historical aspects of the great martyrdom of Chaar Sahibzaade.
