Prime Minister Narendra Modi on thursday offered his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in a bus accident today in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh.

"The Prime Minister extends his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the bus accident in Bilaspur district, HP,"the PMO said.

"I pray for the speedy recovery of those injured in the unfortunate bus accident in Himachal Pradesh," Modi said.At least 25 people drowned and several others were missing after the bus fell into the Gobind Sagar reservoir at Rayian near Bilaspur.

BJP's youth wing president and Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur also condoled the deaths and urged the state government to provide immediate relief to the family members of the deceased according to rules.
