Prinkle walks away with three titles

The Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association trainee Prinkle Singh won three titles in the recently concluded AITA Super Series tennis tournament held at Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

Prinkle clinched U-14, U-16 singles titles and also won the U-14 doubles title pairing with Shreya Gulia. In the U-16 singles, Prinkle crushed Vadhai Chaudhary 6-0, 6-2.

For the U- 14 singles crown prickle defeated defeated Dedeepya Sai 6-2, 7-6(1). In U-14 doubles she partnered with Shreya Gulia to beat Sukriti and Shreya 6-0, 6-4.

Mankeerat, Jashan register wins

Panchkula:

Mankeerat Singh blanked Ishaan 6-0, while Jashan Gupta outclassed Sameer 6-2in boys’ and girls’ under-12 second round matches on the first day of the combined junior under-12 and under-14 boys’ and girls’ tennis tournament being played at DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, Panchkula, on Saturday.

Easy win for Shrey

Chandigarh:

Shrey defeated Manpreet Singh 5-1 in the boys’ under-10 first round matches in the Paragon open total tennis tournament on Saturday. In another match, Arav Gupta defeated Ranveer Singh 5-3. In boys’ under-14, Sarabjot defeated Devansh 6-2.
