PU women studies dept launches website to mark Library Day
The department-cum-centre for women's studies and development, Panjab University (PU), launched a website of the department's library as part of its National Library Day celebrations on Tuesday.

The department-cum-centre for women's studies and development, Panjab University (PU), launched a website of the department's library as part of its National Library Day celebrations on Tuesday.
Ronki Ram, dean, faculty of arts, and honorary director of Indian Council for Social Sciences Research (ICSSR), north western region, urged the department to inculcate the habit of reading.
Library assistant Jyoti Sharma, who developed the website, informed the students about its salient features. The website contains various links, including ones to access the library catalogue, book recommendation and feedback forms.
The library has over 1,700 books.
